🍁 DIY Thanksgiving Cricut Tea Towel

Step 1: Choose Your Tea Towel
Choose a cream, white, beige, or oatmeal tea towel. Wash and dry it first. Avoid fabric softener.

Step 2: Upload the Design
Open Cricut Design Space and upload your autumn PNG. Select Complex Image and remove the background if needed. For this detailed full-color design, use a printable transfer method.

Step 3: Resize the Design
Resize the artwork to approximately 8–10 inches wide. Keep the proportions locked and leave plenty of space around the design.

Step 4: Print the Design
Print onto your printable HTV or transfer material using the recommended settings. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for print quality and mirroring.

Step 5: Cut the Transfer
Place the printed material on your Cricut mat and select the appropriate material setting. Cut around the design and remove the excess material.

Step 6: Prepare the Towel
Place the towel on a firm, heat-resistant surface. Lint-roll the area where the design will be applied and pre-press according to your transfer instructions.

Step 7: Position the Design
Center the artwork on the towel and make sure it is straight. Position it so the design remains visible when the towel is folded over an oven handle.

Step 8: Press
Cover the transfer with the recommended protective sheet. Use your Cricut EasyPress or heat press according to the transfer manufacturer's temperature, pressure, and time instructions.

Step 9: Remove the Carrier
Allow the transfer to cool or settle according to the manufacturer's instructions. Carefully peel away the carrier sheet, paying attention to the small sunflower and wheat details.

Step 10: Finish & Enjoy
Let the towel cool completely before using. Style it with pumpkins, fall greenery, wooden utensils, or other Thanksgiving kitchen dΓ©cor for a cozy autumn look.

Care: Follow the transfer manufacturer's washing instructions. Wash gently, avoid bleach and high heat, and never iron directly over the design.

Gift Idea: Pair your finished towel with a wooden spoon, mini pumpkin, or fall candle for an easy Thanksgiving hostess gift.
